Mrs. Cathy Badge is our music teacher. She has been teaching in Newaygo for 33 years.   All of our  students have music with Mrs. Badge. The music curriculum in the Upper Elementary School includes work in singing technique, rhythm studies, instrumental accompaniment on both tuned and percussion instruments, music appreciation, and more. The fourth grade students also play recorders during the third trimester.
